Livelihood Program for Rural Women

The Livelihood Program for Rural Poor Women focuses on empowering marginalized women by addressing financial hardships and enhancing their overall well-being. Aiming to increase family incomes by at least 20%, boost social status and confidence, and develop a replicable self-employment model, the project has successfully established various ventures, including chips production unit, mini oil production unit, re-selling unit, and flour mill unit, each managed by a team of women. Key aspects of the program include mobilization, orientation, training, and continuous monitoring, which have equipped participants with essential skills in entrepreneurship, financial management, and technical areas. This approach has significantly increased incomes, generated employment, and improved the social status and self-esteem of the women involved. Ultimately, the initiative has created sustainable livelihoods, contributed to local economic development, and advanced gender equality.
